Good times.

Pub was alive for hours, etc etc.

We clearly need more of this kind of activity / people in the Z?

lol I remember Shaft had a KKK hoodie banner in-game and I just could not understand as a 12 or 13 year old kid why everybody was okay with this. I even made a thread on the forums about it and people laughed at me.

Something not being suitable for an 11 year old is not a clear sign that something should end. All that means is maybe it isn't suitable for young children... Just like billions of other activities. Don't fool yourself though, the things you're trying to keep your child from seeing are going to reach him one way or another. I don't know about you but there was all kinds of crap in school around 11 years old from my memory.

Bit of a reach there. Hz used to be significantly more toxic. I can't remember the last time I saw a racial slur in game. There was a time where every line of chat contained one.

This thread is about scrim, which is supposed to be of a closer calibre to rshl than pub. Your 11 year old would be fine in pub, though he'd go through the same growing pains we all did when we were newbies.

My 11 year old son is expressing interest in playing.  Obviously I can't let him interact with 75% of the hz population.  I think this is a sign that subspace should finally end.  On the other hand it's one of the oldest multiplayer intertoob games.  Probably has historical significance.  Maybe we could just put it in a museum.

scrim is the same playirs over and over because there is hardly ne activity. if u make it 4v4 there are more options to choose from, winning means more becuz if u lose theres much gr8er chance u wont b silictid right away. not 2 hard 2 undirstind this. less game spots availabil=more compititon=haf 2 b victirs 2 keep playink=less noopi teams unless they retrief ciptin=more ppl will b linink up in the ciptins q because they will actually want to play becuz its competitif instead of being indifferent

i know i wud b tryink 2 retrief ciptin so i cud scrimmich if i know its competitif n i haf 2 win 2 keep playink compared to the sumwhat glorified pub which is what scrim is now, where i haf 0 motivition 2 play and dont haf 2 get ciptin becuz every1 is automatically addid if u ask n u r playink w/ big eatir abvilt memiriz idkidc n kai every mitch (no offince just exampil)

Honestly people aren't focused enough on making scrim competitive imo. Instead of making it a glorified pub game people should actually be picking teams that are likely to win games. Nowadays everyone chooses their friends or random people for a giant shit show of a game. There are many games when I see the better players in the arena not picked even if they want to play. Of course people who pick their friends or buddies aren't trying to lose, they usually just can't see how bad their buds are because they like them so they justify their bad plays. and play up their good plays. We're honestly at the opposite of elitism at this point and it's pretty bad. There definitely needs to be a healthy point somewhere in the middle. If games are just a shit show of players who can't put in a competitive effort no one is going to want to play ever.
